Code of Conduct
Spero Performance is a high-performance environment. These are the standards every athlete on the floor is expected to uphold, pro or beginner, no exceptions.
- 01
Take training seriously
Show up ready to work. We don't care if you're a pro or just starting out, we expect full effort every session. Half-commitment doesn't get results, and it brings down the people around you.
- 02
Respect the facility
This is a high-performance environment. Equipment is racked when you're done. The floor stays clean. Showers and recovery rooms are left as you'd want to find them. The space gets respected so it stays a place worth training in.
- 03
Respect the coaches and other athletes
Listen when coaches are giving direction. Don't interrupt sessions. Don't get in someone's way during a working set. Encourage the athletes around you, the energy on the floor matters.
- 04
Be on time
Late arrivals miss the warm-up, throw off the session, and put you at risk for injury. If you're going to be late or absent, tell us in advance.
- 05
Use the equipment correctly
Ask if you're not sure how something works. Don't load equipment beyond its rated capacity. Don't use a piece of gear you haven't been shown how to use.
- 06
Leave the politics outside
We train athletes from every team, sport, and background. Personal conflicts, rivalries, and outside disputes stay outside.
- 07
When in doubt, ask
If you're unsure about a movement, a piece of equipment, a recovery protocol, or anything else, ask a coach. We'd rather take 30 seconds to answer than have you guess and get hurt.
The bottom line.
We don't care if you're a pro or just want to get better. We do require you to take training seriously, respect the facility, and always give a good effort. If that's you, you'll fit in. If it's not, this isn't the place for you.
